For microblading and semi-permanent makeup clients, yearly touch-ups are necessary to maintain beautiful results. To learn more about touch-ups at Eye Design or to get started booking your next visit with us, keep reading!
Have you had microblading or Powder Effect done at the Eye Design studio? A touch-up four to six weeks after your initial appointment is necessary for longer-lasting results (and to address minor imperfections). But, our team of expert technicians, including our founder and Master Tech Nadia Afanaseva, recommend a touch-up every 12 to 18 months to keep brows looking fresh!
When was your last Eye Design touch-up?
Nadia, along with her studio team, developed our semi-permanent brow treatments to reduce your need for makeup and shorten the amount of time it takes you to get ready each morning. So, if you find yourself layering eyebrow pencils, pomades or powders on top of your semi-permanent makeup, it is probably time for a touch-up!
Whether you prefer soft and subtle results or a bold, intense brow, yearly touch-ups are necessary to maintain your look.
In fact, we structured our pricing so that two touch-ups per year (once every six months) costs the same as one touch-up every 12 months! This is ideal for those with extremely oily skin that does not hold the pigment well, in addition to clients who simply like to maintain a bolder brow look.
Microblading vs. Powder Effect
If you have yet to schedule your initial brow treatment at Eye Design, now is the time to begin your transformation! Our studio has changed the lives of more than 25,000 clients over the past five years–and we want you to join us.
Microblading: Microblading is a manual pigment-application technique that creates the look of hyper-realistic hair-like strokes for clients with over-plucked, over-waxed or naturally sparse brows. This technique heals best on clients with normal to dry skin.
Powder Effect: Known throughout the industry by many names (such as shadow effect, ombré brows and micro-shading), Powder Effect uses pin-dot pigment application to mimic the look of makeup. It requires a small machine tool, which places pigment under the skin gently and effectively. Powder Effect is suitable for all skin tones and skin types!
Whichever technique you choose (if you are unsure which is best for you, your technician will help you decide) rest assured you will leave the Eye Design studio with a customized brow look that flatters your one-of-a-kind facial features and suits your personal style.
Advanced, Senior + Master Technicians
Our studio has three tiers of technicians to fit a variety of budgets. All of our technicians are extremely experienced and skilled (and trained by Nadia herself)! Pricing tiers are based on the technicians’ availability.
Advanced technicians (Aini + Larissa): Advanced Technicians are reserved solely for clients in our studio and have the most open and flexible availability.Senior technician (Mona): In addition to working with clients in our studio, Senior Technician Mona has responsibilities as an instructor at our Eye Design University courses for beauty professionals. Clients who want to work with Mona should schedule their visits at least three weeks in advance.
Master Technician (Nadia): Nadia is Eye Design’s owner, founder and Master Technician. She has many responsibilities at Eye Design and frequently works behind the scenes on the business aspects of the company. Additionally, she also works with celebrity and influencer clients, so her time is extremely limited. We recommend that those who want to work with Nadia book at least three weeks in advance.
